Welsh Guards - 22 SASr

John joined IJLB Oswestry in 1970. He went on to serve with the Welsh Guards and later 22 SAS. He was killed during the Falklands War.

Ian joined IJLB Oswestry from his home in Essex and passed out during the summer of 1971. At the age of just 18 years, serving with the Royal Anglian Regiment in Belfast, Ian was killed during a fire-fight with IRA terrorists close to Servia Steeet.

John joined IJLB Shorncliffe in 1990 and went on to serve with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. He was killed whilst serving in Iraq.

Phil joined IJLB Oswestry in 1970 then went on to serve with the Welsh Guards, the Guards Parachute Company and later 22 SAS. He was killed during the Falklands War.

Mick joined IJLB Oswestry in September 1964 and went on to serve with the Irish Guards. He was killed whilst serving in Aden.

Mark joined IJLB Shorncliffe in 1983 from his home in Bournemouth and went on to serve with the Devonshire & Dorset Regiment. Mark was killed whilst serving in Afghanistan.

Tpr Hooker joined IJLB from his home in Westerham in Kent. He went on to serve with The Royal Sussex Regiment and later 22 SAS.
