Gdsm Robert S. Lonie

Pictured here during Adventure Training at Oswestry, Bob was a thoroughly decent guy but he struggled with the physical aspects of army life.

He died of heat exhaustion whilst taking part in a road run on 21st September 1979.

Bob is buried at Cupar in Fife.
