Bloody Belfast by Ken Wharton
As Ken visits the UK for the launch of his third book entitled Bloody Belfast - he begins work on his fourth and sent us this message:
I have today started on my fourth NI book and its provisional title is '1972; One Year of Insanity in Ulster's Madness'.
It will
be again - I couldn't write anything else - an oral history from the squaddie's perspective.
As before, I need your personal - even second hand - accounts from that year. You as individuals have been my biggest supporters and mainstay and anyone who has a story to tell can e-mail me. As always, your help will be critical.
Accounts can be named or anonymous and I ask that you recall the sights, sounds, even the smells as well as your memories.
I have six months to complete this book, so, if you served in 1972 or you know of any comrades who did, please ask them to contact me.
