It was three years in the making - but we got there in the end! The first mass e-mail to all 1,000+ registered users of ijlb.com went out on Sunday 21st March to a great reception.

Recipient Mick Jarrate said "This is a great move forward as I for one, somehow manage to forget to 'log on' on a regular basis, also, as I belong to several organisations I'm beginning to lose touch (and at times, patience) when navigating these sites, as each seems to have its own foibles when operating them. Whilst I'm not a Luddite, I'm certainly not an expert! This method of comms is certainly the way ahead as far as I'm concerned and it's so useful to have all the links on hand should I need to visit the main site. Bloody well done and thank you".

Mission accomplished! The whole idea is to include everyone who takes the time to register and serve all the former Junior Leaders by making it as easy as possible to stay in the loop. We are able to send out these e-mail updates at any time and expect to do so 3 or 4 times each year.

Depending upon how your PC is set up, the e-mail may be proceded by a warning against opening. Not to worry, it's completely clean of viruses of any kind and eventually, we'll figure out how to put it together in such a way that it won't be seen by some security systems as a possible threat.

If you'd like to register for these e-mail updates go here>>

If you have something you'd like to include in the next update - words, pictures or movies - go here>>

Otherwise, enjoy - we're on the case to keep the IJLB on-line effort going until some young upstart from IJLB Shorncliffe no doubt comes along to give it a go.
